Old and New, mostly old.
We took this trip in April 2016. The weather is good, warmer than home, but not to hot. Good shoes are a must, as is sunscreen, for your pale winter skin. We took a couple local tours, most places have a hop-on-hop-off type of trolley or bus. I usually will hire a local photography tour. I always learn something new, and as they are local, they know the best locations and times to photograph the sites. If your interested in this kind of thing, ghost tours are quite popular down south, and they take you to some interesting places. Local National Parks are always great. Explore, push your comfort zone. That’s what vacations are for, new experiences. We also schedule downtime, so we are not running every single moment. We keep the activities flexible so that if the weather is not cooperating, we can do an indoor trip, like to a museum, or aquarium.
